Nefesh B’Nefesh has teamed up with television producer, bestselling author and celebrity chef Jamie Geller, known as the “Kosher Rachael Ray,” to produce a series of monthly webisodes titled Joy of Israel with Jamie Geller. The series is a sequel to the successful Joy of Aliyah online documentary series co-produced by 12Tribe Films and IsraelVideoNetwork.com.
The series, which premiered on April 2, will feature a new episode on the first Tuesday of each month at: www.nbn.org.il/joyofisrael.
The new food and travel series document Geller and her family’s first year as new olim, while showcasing the beauty of living in Israel. Episodes follow Geller as she visits famous culinary locales in Israel — restaurants, vineyards, dairies, farmers’ markets, and the like — showcasing the real joy of Israel.
Geller and her family made aliya to Israel in August 2012 through Nefesh B’Nefesh. She is the founder of Kosher Media Network (KMN); in the spring of 2011, KMN unveiled its Joy of Kosher consumer brand, with the simultaneous launch of JoyofKosher.com and the award-winning magazine, Joy of Kosher with Jamie Geller.
Below is the first episode of Joy of Israel with Jamie Geller, titled “Cooking with Cowboys.”
