It’s time to get out those markers!
Enter the 35th Annual AJW Hanuka Cover Contest!
We’re looking for colorful drawings by budding artists to feature on the cover of our Hanuka special edition on Nov. 6.
We will need artworks in the Jewish World office by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28. (You might not want to trust the U.S. Postal Service to deliver an artwork by the deadline.)
We will choose one drawing from a student in first through eighth grades. Drawings should be visual representations of the meaning of Hanuka. Let your imagination soar! Also, THINK VERTICAL — the artwork should be a letter-size (8.5 x 11) piece in a vertical format.
We’ve got come fabulous prizes lined up this year for the winner and runners-up. The winning child will also have their picture in the newspaper!
