In 2013, Jewish Community Action (JCA) played a key role in passing the Minnesota DREAM Act, which is already making higher education more accessible to the state’s immigrant students. Now, JCA is looking to Washington to help pass federal comprehensive immigration reform.
JCA will host an immigration forum with Reps. Keith Ellison, of Minnesota, and Luis Gutierrez, of Illinois, 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 at Incarnation Catholic Church, 3817 Pleasant Ave., Minneapolis.
