The debut recording from Abraham Inc., Tweet Tweet (Table Pounding), offers a thoroughly enjoyable sonic mishmash of genres. The group is comprised of klezmer clarinetist David Krakauer; trombonist Fred Wesley, who played with the legendary James Brown; and Montreal-based Socalled, on sampler, piano, organ and vocals. They are joined by rapper C Rayz Walz, singer Katie Moore, and a cast of talented musicians. The klezmer and chazzanut gets funkified on “Moskowitz Remix” and eight other tunes. This band must be a gas in live performance. — M.S.
