A part of the DERECH Program, this award-winning sixth-eighth grade teen girls’ weekly after-school wellness initiative features nutrition, cooking, noncompetitive exercise and self-esteem activities to create healthy habits “Jewish style.” Healthy, traditional Jewish cooking, yoga, Pilates, Krav Maga and more.

The newly renovated, spacious and bright Health & Wellness Center at the Capp Center St. Paul is state of the art and provides all of the tools you need for your health and wellness journey: 50+ cardio machines with personal viewing screens, strength machines, free weights and kettlebells, functional training and stretching areas, plus dedicated Pilates Reformer and Cycle Studios. The full-court gymnasium is the perfect place to play! We offer personal training and small group training, all designed to help you personalize your fitness journey. You will also find a variety of programs, leagues and classes offered through sports and recreation, all to keep the young and young at heart active and engaged all year.
The new Aquatics Center is the perfect place for people of all ages to enjoy recreation and exercise in the water. Our center includes two separate swimming pools: a 25-yard lap pool with a deep end for exercise and learning, as well as a family-friendly recreation pool with water slide and play and spray features. Plus, we offer multiple options for swimming lessons to get you or your child swimming at the desired level. Our patient and knowledgeable swim instructors are certified and offer year-round group, private and semi-private lessons for all ages.
Our on-deck whirlpool is the perfect place to relax and restore sore muscles after your workout. The Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms each have a Sauna and Steam Room, offering the perfect place to relieve stress and improve your health.

The Health & Wellness Center at the Sabes Center Minneapolis is a full-service health and wellness facility that features cardiovascular and strength equipment and a full range of classes and programs designed to increase the physical health of every member. We work to create a comfortable and friendly environment that is designed for your individual needs and offer group fitness, personal training, Pilates, yoga, martial arts, adult and youth leagues, after-school enrichment classes, summer camps, indoor and outdoor pools with learn-to-swim programs, massage, senior fitness classes and Heartworks cardiac rehabilitation, plus free childcare services.
Our Aquatics Program offers swim lessons for all ages and abilities with emphasis on confidence, personal safety, swimming skills and endurance. Small class sizes allow for greater individual attention, and we creatively use age-appropriate games, songs and teaching techniques to ensure that everyone enjoys their lesson and leaves the pool with a sense of accomplishment. We also offer private and semi-private classes with one-on-one instruction. We offer many membership types to fit your or your family’s needs.
