In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Twin Cities Maimonides Society, an affinity group of the Minneapolis Jewish Federation and the United Jewish Fund and Council of St. Paul, will host a panel discussion titled “Detecting Breast Cancer Early: What You Need to Know!” The event, presented in memory of Dr. Joyce Warshawsky, a founding member of the Maimonides Society, will take place 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs Conference Center at the University of Minnesota, 301 19th Ave. S., Minneapolis.
