The Minnesota Rabbinical Association (MRA) and Minnesota Cantor’s Association (MCA) will offer a Service of Comfort 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 at Adath Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery. The service is for those who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth or newborn death, along with their extended families.
It will be led by Rabbi Harold Kravitz, of Adath Jeshurun Congregation, and Rabbi Marcia Zimmerman and Cantor Barry Abelson, of Temple Israel.
These losses are often suffered in isolation without the usual support from Jewish tradition and community. The service will provide ritual to help parents and families find comfort after a loss.
