Five reasons to see ‘A Servants’ Christmas’

The Twin Cities Jewish Film Festival will host its 2015 Line-Up Reveal Party 6 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 at the Bedlam Theatre, 213 Fourth St. E., St. Paul.
The event will begin with a performance by Dan Israel and the Cultivators, followed by a screening of The Wrecking Crew.
The film tells the true story of the session musicians that elevated ordinary songs to legendary status in the 1960s and ’70s. The Beach Boys, Sonny and Cher, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, and just about every other singer of that era relied on the “The Wrecking Crew” to make them stars — and they delivered.
This event is sponsored by the Heilicher Foundation. There is a $10 suggested donation or pay what you can.
The Twin Cities Jewish Film Festival, sponsored by the Sabes JCC and St. Paul JCC, will run Oct. 22–Nov. 1. For information, visit: tcjfilmfest.org.
