The Howie Stillman Young Leadership Fund will present “An Evening with Jennifer Weiner” 7 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at Adath Jeshurun Congregation, 10500 Hillside Ln. W., Minnetonka.
Weiner made her debut with the New York Times bestseller Good in Bed, the story of a smart, witty plus-size pop-culture journalist whose ex-boyfriend chronicles their ex-sex life on the pages of a top-selling women’s magazine. Her second novel, In Her Shoes, became a 2005 film starring Cameron Diaz, Toni Collette and Shirley MacLaine.
Weiner will discuss her books, personal experiences and women’s search for a sense of self.
