The Jan. 4 issue of the AJW featured a story about acclaimed Israeli jazz bassist and composer Omer Avital. Music fans in the Twin Cities will have a chance to see Avital live, when he brings his Band of the East to the St. Paul JCC this Thursday evening, Jan. 10. The music starts at 7 p.m.
