A release party for Matthew Levitt’s new CD will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22 at Zeke’s Unchained Animal, 3508 E. Lake St., Minneapolis.
The CD, titled Prophets, Volume 1 is Levitt’s second. His previous album, Ahava Raba, was released in 2011.
Levitt recently had a single released on the 2013 Shalshelet CD of new Jewish liturgical music and included in their printed anthology. Levitt performed at Shalshelet’s annual festival last February in Miami.
