Through its Hag Sameach (Happy Holidays) program, Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis (JFCS) provides gift bags of Passover foods and other ritual items to help families in need celebrate the holiday. Often this is a family’s only opportunity to receive what they need to celebrate the traditions of Passover.
Last year JFCS served nearly 225 families.
The community is encouraged to help in this mitzva opportunity by making an $18 donation to Adopt a Family for Passover by Friday, April 13.
