Belle Linda Halpern will present her highly acclaimed cabaret “Cravings: Songs of Hunger and Satisfaction” 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at the St. Paul JCC, 1375 St. Paul Ave.

The cabaret is described as a “funny and thought-provoking look at our search for what feeds us.” Songs will range from Tin Pan Alley classics to pop anthems, contemporary ballads and Yiddish showstoppers. Each is spiced with comic personal narrative reflecting Halpern’s Jewish-American culinary journey.
