The Harold and Mickey Smith Gallery of Jewish Arts and Culture features religious and cultural objects of the Jewish people. The Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) is only the second art museum in the United States with a permanent gallery representing the artistic and cultural achievements of Jews worldwide. General admission is always free. Museum hours: Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; closed Monday.

We feature unique and diverse opportunities to explore Jewish artistic expression. The Tychman Shapiro Gallery and the Shared Walls Exhibition Areas offer opportunities for artists to exhibit work that stems from their Jewish background or work that creates ties to Jewish culture. Exhibits are paired with engaging lectures, interactive workshops and enriching educational programs. Exhibits are always free and open to the public during regular Sabes JCC main entrance hours
