The Aquatics Department at the Sabes JCC provides services to all ages and all abilities. Our programming includes the Sabes Swim Academy (both group and private lessons instruction), the Sabes Stars youth swim team for children grades 1-6, log rolling, prenatal and postnatal water exercise, and water aerobics. The St. Paul JCC features a warm water (84-degree), five-lane pool, and offers multiple levels of water fitness classes, male- and female-only specific swim times, family open swim and lap swim. For children and teens, there are swimming lessons, swim teams and swim camps, logrolling and other programs.

This is a weeklong Jewish Olympic-style event, where athletes participate in one of 14 sports and events, creating memories that last a lifetime. JCC Maccabi Games, the largest Jewish teen event in the world, promotes community involvement, teamwork and pride in being Jewish. Each summer more than 5,000 Jewish teens participate in the Games. More than 100,000 teens have benefited from JCC Maccabi Games since 1982.

The St. Paul JCC engages children, teen and adult members in sports and recreational activities through a variety of programs, leagues and events year-round.  Members choose from programs offered daytime, evenings and weekends, including summer sports camps, tennis lessons, basketball leagues, floor hockey, Tae Kwon Do and racquetball/handball. Additional programs are offered seasonally, weather permitting.
