Since 1984, the Eiger and Zaidenweber families have provided a multipurpose community space for teaching about and studying the Holocaust. Future generations will have access to books and photographs, artifacts and human resources on the Holocaust. The JCRC brings the history and lessons of the Shoah to teachers and students, civic organizations and religious groups through a Holocaust survivors speakers’ bureau and Educational Family Survivor Kits. JCRC provides opportunities to travel to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., and take part in the annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration.

Independent center in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota teaching courses on the Holocaust, supporting scholarship about the Holocaust and other genocides, and presenting lectures, films, workshops, and other events to the public. The center offers speakers, teaching resources, and film and library materials for schools and colleges throughout Minnesota and the neighboring states. Home of all 52,000 testimonies from the “Survivors of the Shoah” project.
