Tikvah is a division of Camp Ramah in Wisconsin developed for children with special needs. Tikvah provides all of the opportunities of the Ramah experience with additional staffing and support for campers with learning and social difficulties, including Asperger’s syndrome. Through individualized programming, supported by highly skilled staff, teens in the Tikvah program develop friendships, have fun and learn in formal and informal Jewish settings. Tikvah offers a full eight-week session for teenage campers, a four-week “Taste of Tikvah” option for first-time younger campers, as well as the Tikvah Vocational Program for qualified high school graduates.
