B’nai Abraham Synagogue in Virginia, Minn., is the last remaining synagogue on Minnesota’s Iron Range and the only Minnesota synagogue listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This historic building is being restored for cultural and community programs, and it houses a permanent exhibit on the history of Iron Range Jewry. The handicapped-accessible building is located at 428 Fifth Ave. S., and visitors are invited to view the building. The Virginia Area Historical Society will provide tours if contacted in advance at (218) 741-1136, or at the above numbers.
